Spanish 1920's Living Room (After)

Restoration Idea

The 'Revere Pewter' here obviously provides a great back drop to this french sofa upholstered in an oyster brown velvet.
Spanish architecture dressed in modern classic neutrals is definitely cool. Eclectic friendly.
What do you think?

Venetian Plaster as Modern Architecture Wall Finishes

Scarpa as an accent wall in contemporary architecture.

Venetian Plaster as Modern Architecture Wall Finishes

Here is Drew's hand putting the final finishing touches on a charcoal grey accent wall. This technique known as Scarpa utilizes a rich sandwiching of rough and smooth layers to create a beautiful 'accent wall' with lots of movement and energy.

Ceiling in Progress

Here are some shots
of our preparation

Spanish 1920's Living Room (Before)

This is a living room that is in the process of getting a beautiful eggshell finish in Benjamin Moore's 'Revere Pewter'

This project involves a traditional paint job save for the unexpected, badly needed re-plastering of a nearly 90 year old ceiling. (refer to next post).

Looking forward to posting the finished product by the end of the week.
